Google Gmail Trick
(can be used with Thinglink EDU)
There is an education account available in Thinglink. You can add up to 100 students in a class. I HIGHLY recommend it so that you can 1) see your student projects at any time, and 2) provide usernames and passwords for students who forgot their previous username or password. (Although this should not be an issue if you have students activate their account via the Chrome Web Store.)
I corresponded with Thinglink because I actually wanted more than 100 students to have accounts. I also did not want to have 100 students in one class. It would just be a chaotic mess! Their tech services people recommended that I use the trick I've explained below to work around the 100 student constraints. (By the way... this trick works for MANY sites...not just ThingLink!)
**GOOGLE QUICK TRICK!
Create your own gmail account that is NOT linked to the district. If you make a gmail account to use, you can create MANY accounts in a lot of the programs by simply adding a plus sign and a word or number after your email [email protected]. Pretend that I have an email called [email protected]. I can make a bunch of sub accounts in various programs by using the following email addresses: SampleUserName+class1@gmail.com, or SampleUserName+SuzieMaryJohnnie@gmail.com, or SampleUserName+2@gmail.com . Many sites will register these as different users, BUT all of the registrations activation notices and emails go to my original account at [email protected].

Get Students in the Habit of Using Legal Images!
Just because something is on the internet and it is easy to find, does not make it legal for you or students to use it. Please pay attention to the Fair Use laws and teach them to your students!
